रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर और कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के बीच आज 17 मई 2025 को एम. चिन्नास्वामी स्टेडियम, बेंगलुरु में मैच खेला जाना था। लेकिन भारी बारिश के कारण यह मैच रद्द कर दिया गया।आरसीबी बनाम केकेआर के बीच मैच देखने के लिए लोग स्टेडियम में जुटने लगे थे लेकिन शाम करीब 5 बजे बारिश शुरू हो गई और बारिश रुकने का नाम नहीं ले रही थी। आखिरकार आईपीएल अधिकारियों ने मैच रद्द कर दिया।
- बारिश के कारण दोनों टीमों को एक-एक अंक से संतोष करना पड़ा। आरसीबी ने अंक तालिका में अपना पहला स्थान बरकरार रखा और केकेआर के कम अंक होने के कारण प्लेऑफ की दौड़ से बाहर होना पड़ेगा।
रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर ने 14 में से 12 मैच खेलकर 17 अंक हासिल किए हैं और उसके दो मैच अभी भी बाकी हैं। अगर वह दोनों मैच जीत जाती है तो प्लेऑफ में उसकी जगह पक्की हो जाएगी।
- आरसीबी के अभी दो मैच बाकी हैं, जिसमें से वह 23 मई को अपने घरेलू मैदान पर सनराइजर्स हैदराबाद और 27 मई को लखनऊ सुपरजाइंट के खिलाफ खेलेगा।
कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स ने 14 में से 13 मैच खेलकर 11 अंक हासिल किए हैं। अगर वे अपना आखिरी मैच जीत भी जाते तो भी वे प्लेऑफ के लिए क्वालीफाई नहीं कर पाएंगे।
